It is reported that the Russian investigative website with its editorial offices located in Latvia also said that a civilian was killed during the bombardment.

According to the report, two others in the same group as the Russian journalist were also injured and were admitted to the hospital.

Sergiy Tomilenko, the head of the Ukrainian journalists› union, confirmed the death of Ballina in a statement posted on Facebook in which she said she was covering what happened after a shelling when she was struck with new fire.
